Determined because we look to stabilise a rather chaotic world that is inside of us. We are strong we because we know what it is to be weak. I guess there is a lot more to say n the subject, but I was unhappy with the two-dimensional descriptions of my star sign.
This idea on the zodiac sign isn’t just based off myself, but the people that I know who are capricorns and very much more so than I am. We find it difficult to understand them and it’s a lot easier for a Capricorn to repress it and hold it in, and usually we are left misunderstood because of this. We are seen as emotionless, but it’s our very emotions that usually drive us to do the things that we do. It might be the reason we have such huge representation for being determined, traditional people, because in a job there are no emotions, complications the rules are set, everyone has a place and a goal to achieve, and to an average Capricorn this is nothing short of a haven. But most of the time, it’s true we are people who have little sense of self-identity and usually look outside of ourselves to define who we are. No one has ever discussed why - rarely has it been mentioned that capricorns are insecure. It’s what we want people to think of us because the judgement of others is very important. Our appearance, the way we look and hold ourselves, is a carefully sketched out to create an idea that is not always very close to the truth. This is not a necessary truth we rather prefer to present ourselves in such a way to avoid being taken advantage of. Another thing is the idea that we are strong people, even maybe assertive. Look at your friendship circle, for example, and think about the kind of friends you’ve made and what has attracted you to them in the first place. I think I’m going off subject a bit, but the point I’m making here is that we’re social climbers but only because it is natural for us to want to work towards the top no matter what situation we are in, so we’re not always even aware of doing it.
I guess this is where the idea that capricorns are suck-ups comes from it is commonly known in astrology that we adapt to our situations and people. We can easily interpret who is at the top and who is not, and quickly make a decision on our own placement and where we want to be, then slowly work our ways upwards (and no, we are not always fully aware of our own intentions, we are just behaving accordingly to our nature.) We’re not the type to always want to be on top, but rather have close contacts to those who are so we can always rely on the people we know. I agree that capricorns are ambitious people - at least theoretically as in my own case - and we can be very aware of the social ladder in any situation given.
I have given it some thought and came up a theory that I hope other capricorns can relate to.
I have always felt a bit cheated by these shallow adjectives because, being a rather lazy person myself, I never really could relate to this and its difficult considering that every other sign in my natal chart seems to fit, all except the upmost important one the sun sign. “Ambitious” and “determined” and “hard-working” and pretty much any other synonym of these words. Capricorns have always been described in very simple terms.
